The Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission is an integrated agency for the development of the film industry and film culture in Northern Ireland. It provides film and television producers from anywhere in the world with all the assistance and information they may need when considering filming in Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland provides unique opportunities for the creative producer. Its position as a region of the United Kingdom offers producers access to UK sources of production finance, whether for feature films or for television drama. Its position as a part of the island of Ireland also offers producers possibilities for creative collaboration with the film industry in the Republic of Ireland.

The Nerve Centre
The Nerve Centre is an award winning multimedia arts centre which is engaged in providing access to facilities, training, education, exhibition and production for many young people in Derry and Northern Ireland.
What began in the late 1980’s as a self-help initiative of young musicians and film makers is one of the key dynamics fuelling the arts and digital media sectors in Northern Ireland today. Since its inception, the Nerve Centre has pioneered the digital age’s technology through education, training and production.
The Nerve Centre is a unique experience for all those who visit and the buzzing atmosphere of creativity and expectation, has been heightened even further with the addition of a coffeehouse, cinema, bar and venue, all housed in a purpose built arts and multimedia center.
