Teaching Moving Image Arts

This section is designed to alleviate some of the worries that teachers new to the subject may be experiencing. Very few of the teachers involved in this subject have a background in film. Although most are Art teachers, others have come from Media, English, Drama and other subject areas so all of us have some degree of subject familiarisation to undertake.

The key thing in your first year is to update your skills and subject knowledge gradually.
