TV documentary on amateur filmmaker, Charlie McAfee, from Ballymoney, who recorded scenes of everyday life in around the area from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Includes amateur footage of a football match in Ballymoney featuring former Manchester United goalkeeper Harry Gregg, Countess Granville opening the Festival of Britain, a fancy dress parade, the Royal Visit to Ballymoney by HRH Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, Ballycastle Fair. Also features footage of the McAfee shop in Ballymoney, street characters from the area, the market, and train station. The aftermath of a fire in Ballymoney is recorded, the British Army defusing bombs in the 1970s, the Ulster Bus Depot in 1972. McAfee made a documentary of Dalriada School in the area on the 70s with interviews with the headmaster, A.W. Reynolds, and teacher Margaret Newcomb. Also includes an amateur production of My Fair Lady from the 1970s, and singing farmer, John Watt. Also featured is the closure of McAfee's Shop, an item on a 'Day by Day' TV team's visit to Ballymoney with interviews with Alex Blair and Lord Mayor of Ballymoney, Molly Holmes. The programmes ends with a montage of McAfee's work on film through the years and recordings of local musicians, magicians and entertainers.
